Moss Rock Specialties was started in 1997 with a one-ton pick up truck, a 24-foot flatbed trailer, and a '73 Peterbilt equipped with a log loader. It began as a side business in the summer months supplying moss rock for small local jobs in the area. We've grown into a year-round, full-time business, and our rock is trucked all over the United States. You can see our rock in many yards in Boulder, Colo., in the town square of Winter Park, Colo., and on the University of Wyoming campus, as well as housing subdivisions in Laramie, Wyo., Omaha, Neb., El Monte, Calif., Minneapolis, Minn., Rockford, Ill., and it has decorated multi-million dollar homes and hotels in Vail and Aspen, Colo.
We work directly with landscape architects, designers, and building contractors, as well as the home owners. We are a hands-on operation and only allow the best quality rock to leave the ranch.
